VLOG - London Fashion Week - Backstage with The Body Shop

Once again I came back to report all the backstage action from London Fashion Week with The Body Shop! I usually write a blog post, but I thought I'll try something new this season and decided to Vlog.

The Body Shop has invited me once again to see the backstage mayhem and I've chosen to show you one of my favourite shows of every season - Ones To Watch - which showcases all the upcoming designers (this season for AW15 they were: J Moon, Minju Kim, Angel Chen and Kim Stevenson). You also have an exclusive sneak peek to how it really is backstage - very loud, hot and cramped with models everywhere, makeup artists and hairdressers trying to beat the time and do their job, fashion assistants and designers madly running around and preparing the clothes...

Lan Nguyen-Grealis - head of makeup team at the show - talks me through the makeup concept and the products used, so you can recreate the look at home. Just to recap, main focus was natural glowing skin which she achieved using The Body Shop Extra Virgin Minerals Compact Foundation and The Body Shop Radiant Highlighter. On the lips and cheeks Lan used The Body Shop Lip & Cheek Velvet Stick in Poppy Nude.

I hope you'll enjoyed this little peek into the madness of London Fashion Week. What did you think of the show and the makeup? What do you think of Lan's idea to link the different designs with nifty idea of eyeliner stickers? Let me know!

  2. Dak Prescott had a chance to win his first NFL start as Dallas, down 20-19, took over at their own 20-yard line with 1:04 left on the clock. The drive fell short eight plays later as wideout Terrance Williams caught a pass in Giants territory but failed to get out bounds in time. The failed one-minute drill doesn't entirely take away from a promising debut for Prescott, who opened the game with scoring drives of 15, 15, 11 and seven plays before the cheap sale jerseys offense was forced to punt. The first half for Dallas served as confirmation that this year's Cowboys are very wholesale jerseys shop much in new nike nfl jerseys play to duplicate their 2014 selves with Prescott at the helm. Hitting 25 of 45 passes for 227 yards, the rookie -- picked NFL Jerseys 134 spots behind Jared Goff -- helped Dallas control the NFL Jerseys ball for 22-plus minutes of the first half. Prescott found eight separate targets and looked comfortable directing the offense. He'd jerseys store like a handful of those throws back, but the former Mississippi State star did a commendable job going through his progressions, finding holes in the defense and putting the ball where his targets had a chance to make plays. This loss falls more on a wanting Dallas defense that couldn't get the Giants off the field in the second half.
