I knew I had to have Urban Decay Vice3 eyeshadow palette ever since I first laid my eyes on it. The mixture of beautiful shades, the sleek and stylish packaging with crystallised neon name on top, huge mirror and padded case to store the palette and make it more easy to travel it. Add Urban Decay's excellent eyeshadow quality and you have something that went straight to the top of my wishlist. When I unwrapped it on Christmas Eve, I was truly happy.
The palette can be divided loosely in colour-coded columns: mattes, cool shades, rich shades, reds, and neutrals. It's this selection of shades that drawn me in, I am not brave enough to pull off a lot of colour into my makeup looks, I prefer to stay close to classics and keep them in 'everyday' realm. Vice3 makes effortlessly possibly. There are few colour injections of vivid blue and green, but for me it's not too overpowering (and also one of the reasons why I haven't picked up Vice palettes in the past).
The possibilities with Vice3 are virtually endless and I love creating new looks every time I reach for this palette. My favourite shades are Vanity, Lucky, Alchemy, Reign and Bondage, so as you can see deep reds took my fancy. There is also a good choice of neutrals, few matte shades to blend and balance out shimmery shades. Vice3 is limited edition palette and all shades are completely new, so I am not sure if you can get it, but if you'll get a chance - go for it!
