I recently saw seriously reduced Real Techniques Sam's Picks Collection on Feel Unique and decided to treat myself. I love my Real Techniques brushes - so far I own Core Collection (review) which is so useful, that I decided that the expansion is way overdue. What is especially exciting about this collection made out of six full-sized brushes, is that it has one brush which is set exclusive and not available to buy separately.

I really like all of these, densly packed, soft and durable. My personal favourites and the brushes I am going to get most use of are definitely Multi-Task Brush, Buffing Brush and aforementioned Essential Crease Brush - they all just work wonderfully in my everyday make up routine and I sometimes question myself how did I go by without them.

Swarovski Bella Clear Crystal Drop Earrings

Swarovski Bella Clear Crystal Drop Earrings
Swarovski Bella Clear Crystal Drop Earrings

One lesson I've certainly learnt over the years is to invest in better quality jewellery. Don't get me wrong, I still love to buy an occasional trend pieces - mainly from Primark or New Look, but in the long term, I am looking for a quality pieces. Swarovski is one of the places I love to get something from when I feel like treating myself and I actually have a small collection of earrings, necklaces and rings from there which I usually wear for a special occasions. One of the newest additions are these beautiful Swarovski Bella Clear Crystal Drop Earrings*. I think they are simply stunning and a certainly a statement piece in itself which can transform a casual outfit of jeans and plain t-shirt to cool chic one and definitely add glamour to an evening gown. I know there are more colours available in the range like pastel pink or blue, but I was really drawn to these clear crystal ones which will match absolutely everything.

WHAT I WORE TODAY: first autumn vibes

parka - River Island, shirt - Primark, jeans - Topshop, shoes - New Look,
necklace - Accessorize, bag - Primark

"Autumn" in the title you may ask - we still have August according to the calendar. Well yes - I am thinking more and more about the next season - new nail polish shades, new clothes, ankle boots, handbags and darker lips (Marilou's posts also help with the inspiration). Today with the morning drizzle outside the window and prospect of spending a day being a tourist (I finally went to see Buckingham Palace after 9 years of living in London!) I decided to embrace colder weather attire and chose simple boots, Topshop jeans and my trusty parka. Of course by the time we've finished our tour I was hot and flustered strolling in the sunshine to St James's Park and looking for an ice-cream van -  that's the London weather for you! I read on the news that we're supposed to have a mini-heatwave and a warm September, so I think I will give my boots a rest for a little while, but I can still on-line shopping for some cosy knitwear, right?

Witch Blackhead Clearing Gel review

Witch Blackhead Clearing Gel review, Witch, skincare, review,

Witch Blackhead Clearing Gel is a new release from Witch brand. I am a huge fan of their concealer which I have been using for years, but I stay away from the rest of the products, because I feel that they are aimed at teenagers since they include powerful witch hazel extract - too potent for my normal/dry skin. However, I was very curious about this new addition - this gel claims to clean the pores and remove dead skin cells without being abrasive to your skin. I was quite sceptical, because I have some flaky skin and enlarged pores on my nose which even the most potent scrubs, exfoilators, masks or any other products can't seem to get rid off. In addition the skin on my nose gets very dry, so I cannot treat it too harshly. I used Blackhead Clearing Gel as advised - on dry face with dry fingers, massaged for one minute and rinsed off remains with water. I was very pleasantly surprised how smooth my nose was without feeling dry! I must admit it didn't quite reduce the pores as I was hoping, but I am still very impressed and completely incorporated this gel into my skincare routine.

Lately I had so many rainbow shades on my nails that I forgot what a pleasure it is to have a simple girly pink manicure on. Barry M Gelly Nail Effects in Dragon Fruit came to my rescue and it looks absolutely lovely. You probably won't see this on the swatches, because it is very hard to capture on the photos, but it has an iridescent finish, very subtle glitter, which makes my nails shimmer in the sunlight. I have applied two coats here and topped it with Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat, but next time I am putting at least three coats - I am not very satisfied with the effect and it seems a let down from this Gelly Nail Effect range, because usually these nail polishes have a very opaque formula.

Also, I just want to say huge thank you to all of my followers and subscribers - I've passed 1,000 followers mark on GFC and on Bloglovin' which means a world to me! I am currently having some writer's block issues also caused by the fact that I didn't have a 'proper' blogging break this year, but I am hoping it will change very soon and I am ready to brainstorm some new fresh ideas this week. I am also planning a giveaway as a thank you, but in the meantime you still have time to enter my Nivea giveaway and you can be 1 of 10 winners!

Soap & Glory Hand Dream Super Cream review

Soap & Glory Hand Dream Super Cream review

For the past month I have been using this Soap & Glory Hand Dream Super Cream religiously and I am amazed how good it is - even better than Hand Food (review)! Containing AHAs and botanicals to stimulate cell renewal and ultra-nourishing oils with a clinically proven moisture complex help to seriously soften skin, it made my dry hands feel nourished and pampered. I am a huge fan of Soap & Glory scent, so this cream definitely has an added bonus for me. Well, I'm not gonna lie - 24 hour moisturising effect is not necessarily true and I tend to apply it as often as any other hand cream, but it still does more that other counterparts. It is really fast absorbent although may feel heavy for a few moments on the skin. Also, I had an unfortunate incident when I applied too much and it rolled up to tiny little bumps, so I had to use hand wash and some scrub to salvage the situation, but when applied in moderation it is great. I am already finishing it, but next in line is another famous Soap & Glory hand cream - Endless Glove and I am very curious how will it compare to Hand Dream.

I absolutely love my Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balms (review), but all of the shades were very bold and were more for a statement lipstick look. So I decided to expand my collection a little and recently got shade Elusive to achieve a perfect matte nude pout. Just like other shades from the range, Elusive has a very matte effect without drying the lips (although I make sure to use a thin layer of lip balm beforehand) and the staying power is excellent. It gave me almost full coverage, which is quite hard, because my lips are very naturally pigmented and over the past few weeks it hasn't left my make up bag - that's certainly a true testament how much I like it.

Bioderma Hydrabio range - my favourites

Bioderma Hydrabio range - my picks, Bioderma, skincare, beauty, beauty regime, review, Bioderma Hydrabio Sérum - Moisturising Concentrate, Bioderma Hydrabio H2O - Micelle Solution, Bioderma Hydrabio Gentle Exfoliating Cream, review, blog, UK blogger,

I am a huge fan of Bioderma skincare and virtually every product I've tried and tested was simply perfect. After buying fair share amount of pink micellar water bottles designed for sensitive skin, I decided to try out something from the blue range for dehydrated and sensitive skin.

Bioderma Hydrabio Sérum - Moisturising Concentrate
I've picked it up last time I was in Poland (they have Bioderma in every single pharmacy!) and really like it so far. I've been using it as a part of my evening skincare routine (although you can use it in the morning as well), sometimes followed up by my NIVEA Daily Essentials Rich Regenerating Night Cream For Dry & Sensitive Skin (review) when I feel my skin is particularly dry. It gives my skin an immediate hydration boost and has a gel like texture with a fresh smell and is absorbed quickly - a true pleasure to use. After doing a little bit of research, it is quite often compared to Clarins Double Serum, Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair or Caudalíe Vinosource S.O.S Thirst-Quenching Serum, but for a fraction of a price.

Bioderma Hydrabio H2O - Micelle Solution
I could not live without this stuff! It removes every last trace of make-up, including waterproof mascara and is gentle and hydrating at the same time. True, it is a little bit more hydrating than other make up removers I have used, but I didn't see much of the difference between blue or pink bottles to be honest. Also, if you have a very sensitive skin, I would recommend Sensibio (pink bottle), because it doesn't have fragrance, unlike Hydrabio one.

Bioderma Hydrabio Gentle Exfoliating Cream*
The newest addition to my Bioderma family. It is a gentle moisturising scrub which I use once or twice a week. It works wonderfully on a dry and sensitive skin with no irritation. It comes out thick and rich and only when you start rubbing it on the skin you feel the exfoliating effect. I will definitely use it during the winter, when my skin get very dehydrated and I am planning to follow it up with Bioderma Hydrabio Moisturising Mask, which I am yet to try.

Have you tried anything from the Hydrabio range?

What's currently in my shower

What's currently in my shower, beauty, beauty regime, Soap and Glory, And Other Stories, Aussie, Dr Bronner's, UK blog, beauty blogger

I think the biggest rotation of my beauty products is in my shower, but strangely I never wrote about them before. I often mix up my shower routine and love to discover new product as well as come back to old favourites. Currently, with the transition from summer to autumn I am shying away with strong floral and sweet scents and pick up something more season appropriate. Here comes amazing & Other Stories Body Wash in Moroccan Tea - it has the best scent for this time of the year! It has a hint of spearmint and lemon with some orange flower, cedarwood and is topped with a pinch of brown sugar - like a true tea - not too sweet and not too zesty. It doesn't beat my favourite Lemon Daydream, but is a great contender. Next is Soap & Glory The Scrub Of Your Life - I am finishing it up soon and already have few alternatives, but I know I will repurchase it soon. It has this classic Soap & Glory scent and does a great job scrubbing my skin, but at the same time it's not too harsh. For my face I am currently using Good Things Manuka Honey Refining Scrub and it does a decent job without drying my skin. My current shampoo and conditioner is from Aussie Miracle Shine range. I tend to always buy 3 Minute Miracle Deep Treatment nowadays, instead of the usual conditioner bottle, because I find it more potent, and any conditioner usually stays on my hair for around 3 minutes anyway. I really like this range and like all Aussie products it smells really nice. Last, but not least, I also keep Dr Bronner's Magic Soap in my shower. It has a very soothing and relaxing fragrance and is full of organic oils, including coconut, hemp and olive - a lot of goodness for my skin.

What's in your shower?

Sephora Rouge Infusion Lip Stain in Cherry review, Sephora, lipstick, statement lips, make up, review,

There has been one lipstick which I have been wearing almost on a daily basis for almost a month. I absolutely love it and got a lot of compliments when wearing it, so it must mean a true love. I've picked it up in Poland in my local Sephora - it is Sephora Rouge Infusion Lip Stain in Cherry Nectar. The best way to describe it is that it's a a lipgloss-lip stain hybrid. Upon application you get a glossy even shade, very pigmented and intense, but with no sticky residue. Over time, it sets matte and doesn't budge one little bit! I can honestly wear it for hours with having coffee and some nibbles and my lips are still intact. I am so impressed, I cannot wait to tell my mum to get me more of these - there are 13 more shades to choose from! The only issue I have is a very plain packaging which reminds me of the test tubes from Chemistry class, but I can easily overlook it for the gorgeous, weightless formula that leaves lips stained, soft and hydrated.

NAILS: Essie sand tropez, nail polish, nails, NOTD, Essie, review, swatches, UK blog, beauty blogger

Essie Sand Tropez is one of these amazing shades that will suit everyone, everywhere and for every occasion. Its shade is a soft beige, with a little grey-tan hue - definitely not a typical 'nude'. I think it goes with the name perfectly and even though it may be boring for some, when wearing it, I am instantly reminded of beautiful beaches and seaside. I am wearing two coats here, but you can also paint three, to get a full opaque effect. I also think Sand Tropez can be a very lovely glitter base and I am planning to jazz it up next time with some gold glitter on the tips.

Anna Sui Lip Color Palette review

Anna Sui Lip Color Palette review, lipstick, make up, review,

Anna Sui Lip Color Palette review, lipstick, make up, review,

Just look how amazing is this Anna Sui Lip Color Palette*?! I've always admired Anna Sui products and just can't get over the face how cute this one also is with baroque styling, finished in rich purple with golden accents, roses and gilded butterflies. The sturdy cardboard with a magnetic clasp hides ten signature lip shades, perfect for an everyday wear or night out at the town. All of them are incredibly glossy and pigmented and you can certainly get so many looks out of them with deep red and berries, pretty pinks, subtle nudes and a pretty pearlescent whit, so you can mix it with other shades and get a completely unique colour. My only wish is that the shades were given names. You can currently get it on Escentual for £14, which is 50% off!

I've tried few products from the cult Japanese brand DHC over the years and my absolute favourites are Deep Cleansing Oil, Velvet Skin Coat primer and Liquid Eyeliner EX (reviews). I also own one lipstick from their Moisture Care range and I almost finished it - which just proves how much I love it. Therefore I was very excited to receive a brand new DHC Premium Lipstick GE collection* in the post. There are six shades in the range - all of them very easy wearable, every day shades. DHC is more about natural/'no make up' make up look rather than statement shades. The new technology behind Premium Lipstick GE range also fights the signs of ageing in two ways: firstly, it creates a plumping, 3-D lip effect thanks to pigments which deflect light and secondly it reduces the appearance of vertical lines with a range of age-busting ingredients like macadamia nut oil, collagen and vitamin A. As I said before, the shades are easy to wear and packed in a very luxurious packaging. The lipsticks are a pleasure to use and moisture the lips with giving them a punch of colour at the same time. Rose Gold (BE111) is a nude shade, Bold Persimmon (OR112) more orange and Velvety Red (RD109) has a strawberry red colour. The only issue I have with these lipsticks is that they have no name or number on the packaging, so it's very hard to guess which shade I am looking for in my make up drawer.

New Look Neon Multicoloured Gem Necklace

New Look Neon Multicoloured Gem Necklace, necklace, New Look, jewellery,
New Look Neon Multicoloured Gem Necklace, necklace, New Look, jewellery,

I've ordered few bits from New Look sale recently and I am planning to film a haul on my YouTube channel sharing my finds, but for now let me introduce you to my newest jewellery buy. This New Look necklace wasn't on sale, but still had a rather friendly price tag of £9.99 and to be honest I didn't really hesitate putting it into my on-line basket. I get a lot of wear out of my other two New Look statement necklaces and I always get complimented on them, so I thought why not add a third one into my collection. I absolutely love the fact that it is multicoloured, so I can match it up with a lot of outfits and it will suit even the plainest white t-shirt or the most crazy print. The gradient effect is so cute and the sparkly gems will add this little extra to every outfit - do you agree?

Bourjois Maxi Delight Bronzer review

Bourjois Maxi Delight Bronzer review, Bourjois, bronzer, make up, review, beauty blog, UK blogger

This year is all about discovery of bronzer for me and I've already acquired quite a collection. Bourjois Maxi Delight Bronzer is one of them and certainly the biggest one - it barely fits in the palm of my hand! As you know, I am a huge fan of Bourjois products so I knew this product will not disappoint me. It comes in a plastic pan with a clear lid and a cute pattern embossed in the powder. It is designed to give your skin a sunkissed glow all-year round and is perfect to use on your face and decolletage. Because the pan is so big you only need a one swipe of a bronzer brush and you're set. What is really unique about this bronzer is that it contains mother of pearl and Beta Carotene which helps your skin to enhance and prolonge tan - so it's perfect to take on holiday! It also has this subtle chocolate-sweet scent - famous in Bourjois products.

Part of 2011 Toxic Nature collection from Illamasqua, Radium certainly is a quite unique nail polish shade. I've picked it up during sale months ago and completely forgot about it. Today rummaging through my vast nail polish collection I saw it peeking from the corner and I thought - why not? Its shade can be described as an acidic lime with a shimmer finish. You can't really see the shimmer until the light hits - it looks especially nice in the sunshine - glowing and sparkling. I am aware that this shade may not be everyone's cup of tea, but if you're looking for something unique - especially in the summer - it definitely ticks all the boxes and from what I saw it is currently on sale for £7.50.

WHAT I WORE TODAY: my favourite outfit this year so far

kimono - New Look, top - Primark, trousers - Dorothy Perkins, shoes - Primark,
necklace - gift, ring - eBay, bag - ZARA

Without a doubt this is my favourite outfit I am presenting to you on my blog this year. It has everything I like and love: New Look kimono full of tropical print, neon top and the cutest Primark heels with a matching neon orange detail and adorable ZARA 'Bonjour' bag. I just love this mixture of prints, colours and textures - it makes the outfit fun and playful and I wish there was summer all year round, so I could wear it every single day.

On another note, as you can probably see, Mademoiselle-Lala.com has gone through some revamp. Although there are few more little details to add, everything is pretty much done and I couldn't be more happier and excited with the result. A big thank you to my wonderful husband who spent quite few evenings sitting down and coding his heart away to make my wishes come true. I absolutely love this fresh new look and I hope you'll like it too!

I am a fan of The Body Shop Colour Crush range of lipsticks, because they have lovely formula - smooth and nourishing. Just for summer, they are releasing three new shades: Golden Syrup (350)*, Pink Luxe (245)* and Make My Heart Gleam (140). All of them have a gold shimmery particles which reflect the light and work wonderfully with a tanned face. Together with the new lipsticks, there are also four new additions of Colour Crush eyeshadows. All of them are also in the 'golden nude' tones, so both your eyes and lips can be sprinkled with some golden glints. New eyeshadows are Coco Deluxe*, Gold Rosemance*, Champagne Kiss* and Golden Cinnamon. I really love these shades - so easy to work with and perfect for everyday make up or some build-up for a night out. All of the products will be available from 12th August.
