I recently spotted this beautiful shade of nail polish on Julie's nails and of course she enabled me to make a purchase! Essie Urban Jungle is a part of their summer collection and described as alabaster orchid. I really like this shade - it's a perfect neutral and I think will suit every complexion. I find the application a little bit tricky though, but nothing Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat can't fix. I think in winter it will be ideal base for some glitter nail polishes.
dress* - Chi Chi, shoes - New Look
I already have a small collection of Little Black Dresses, because I honestly think you can never have enough of them - they suit almost every occassion and are simply chic and timeless. The newest addition is this beautiful Chi Chi Kimberly Dress* which I wore recently for our date night. In my opinion Chi Chi has the best selection of the cutest evening and cocktail dresses at a great price and there's always something on their site which I am lusting after. This Kimberly Dress is cream with black lace overlay and sweet short sleeves. It is so flattering and girly I felt sad putting it back to my closet at the end of the night. So I guess I need to plan another date night soon!
I am an eyeshadow palette girl through and through and prefer them much more than single eyeshadows. But when I recently got this Liz Earle Signature Eye Colour in Bronze (05)*, I couldn't wait to try it - just look how gorgeous this shade looks! I love Liz Earle products, they are animal-friendly, cruelty-free and have amazing quality. This eyeshadow just proves it. It is mid-brown with a wash of gold - perfect to enhance the colour of my blue eyes, and I think it will work on every eye colour perfectly. The texture is fine, but it could be a little bit smoother. Also, I'd recommend to use eye primer for maximum colour impact, but even without it, the eyeshadow stays put during the day. There are twenty shades available in the range, so I think it may be a beginning of a beautiful eyeshadow affair. I only wish Liz Earle would release a palette filled with these beautiful shades!
I am a huge fan of Hugo Boss Jour Pour Femme perfume (review) - so I was super excited when I've learnt that there will be new addition to the range. Hugo Boss Ma Vie Pour Femme* was inspired by the independent spirit of a woman as she pauses to indulge in the simple moments of life - a sun on her skin and touch of a flower. It's in those moment when the true femininity and confidence shines and the fragrance was composed to capture that. Top notes of a cactus blossom represent invigorating freshness and bring an unique and modern element to the fragrance. A blooming bouquet of pink freesia, jasmine petals and rose buds in at the heart of this perfume, while the intense warmth of cedarwood forms the base. The thing binding all fragrances in the range together is the bottle design - modern and sleek with a touch of feminine gold and a precision-cut crystal lid. I personally adore this fragrance - it is a little bit sweet, but still fresh and playful. I actually think that it represents inspiration behind it beautifully, so I am wearing it on the weekends and work-free evenings. The scent lingers a long time on my skin too and the pink bottle looks very girly and cute.
I got this nail polish a while ago with the intention of testing it in the summer, but only recently I actually got down to paint my nails with it. And I must admit I was seriously missing out! Models OWN Pukka Purple is just like recently reviewed Bubblegum shade - from Ice Neon collection, which means that it comes in special frosted bottles that I am keeping in the fridge to protect the fluoro colour from fading. I simply love this purple colour and the fact that it looks differently under a different light - the shade goes from navy, to dark blue, purple and neon, so it is actually fun to watch. I absolutely love it and I think I am going to wear it on my toes in winter. I am also planning to invest into more nail polishes from Ice Neon range - any suggestions?
On Thursday I made a trip with fellow bloggers to MOMO restaurant, just off Regent Street to learn about the brand new The Body Shop bath and bodycare range - Wild Argan Oil. Deep in the foothills of the Atlas mountains in Morocco grows the wild Argan tree - the only area in the world where it thrives naturally. Here, local Berber women hand-pick and meticulously hand-crack the best quality nuts, which are then slowly pressed to extract the purest, most radiant oil. For centuries, the Berber women have used Argan oil, traditionally as part of their hammam beauty rituals, to protect and nourish their skin and hair from the harsh Saharan winds and fierce sun. It is rich in essential fatty acids making it a superior skin-nourishing ingredient and earning it the title “Queen of Oils”. We've learnt how the women have started the cooperative in Targanine and how argan oil helps to enrich the lives of hundreds of local Berber women, including their families and communities.
Only 5% of the skin is on the face, so it's important not to forget the rest. Wild Argan Oil range* consists of eight products - some well known and loved and others brand new: Body Butter (RRP £13.00), The Radiant Oil for Body & Hair (RRP £14), Bubbling Bath (RRP £8), Rough Scrub (RRP £13), Body Lotion (RRP £8), Shower Gel (RRP £4), Miracle Solid Oil for Body & Hair (RRP £8) and Solid Oil Lips (RRP £4) - all available from 13th August.
For me there are two star products in the range: The Radiant Oil and Miracle Solid Oil. Radiant Oil has a spritzer bottle, perfect consistency, smells amazing and dries out fast - I had a pleasure to have a hand massage at the event using this oil and the sensation was amazing! You can safely use it on your body and hair - so I feel this product will quickly make its way into my monthly favourites. Miracle Solid Oil is quite different - this cute tin packaging hides solid multipurpose formula - you can also use it on hair and body, and it is perfect for all the rough spots on your body which need a little bit extra TLC like heels and elbows. I've found myself applying it on the cuticles and it did a great job.
Are you looking forward to Wild Argan Oil range?
I think my favourite lip product discovery this year have to be Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet lipsticks. I absolutely love the formula which is super easy to apply by simply gliding on the lips, its staying power is incredible - hours of colour payoff! Two new releases this summer are Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in Nude-ist - a natural looking nude ideal for everyday wear and this gorgeous red called Grand Cru (08)*. I adore red lipstick, so this shade is simply perfect for me. It's a dark burgundy red with pink undertones which helps me achieve gorgeous statement lips. It reminds me of a darker version of Lime Crime Velvetine Liquid Lipstick in Red Velvet, but it's way easier to apply.

I always make sure to dig up this cute pegasus skirt and wear it in the summer. It has everything you can be looking for - galaxy print, great cut and a flying pegasus. This time I've paired it up with a Mango top and New Look sandals. I also took ASOS Satchel Bag With Scalloped Edge with me and it fits all of my essentials and is just so cute - I honestly love its pastel shade - it instantly makes me happy.
I literally squealed with excitement when I got brand new The Body Shop Smoky 2 in 1 Gel Liner* in the post yesterday. I love multipurpose products - they're so handy to keep in the make up bag or when going on a trip - so I was very happy to give it a go. Designed to line, define, enhance and exaggerate your eye look, this innovative 2-in-1 gel liner lets you draw the perfect eye line and intensify your brows. The formula includes crushed deep and ultra-dark pigments as well as Community Fair Trade oils and Liner comes in two shades: Carbon Black and Brown. I am simply dipping the tip in the gel and then trying to apply an accurate line in one stroke. The brush is very precise and feels very soft. The formula dries out fast, but not too fast that you cannot make any quick alterations and it really is insanely pigmented! I've used Bioderma Micellar Solution to remove it from one eye and The Body Shop Camomile Waterproof Eye & Lip Make Up Remover on the other and the latter was more successful. Liner launches on 13th August with RRP £10 price tag.

Hydraluron Moisture Jelly* is a brand new product from Indeed Labs, which has launched literally two weeks ago. Its purpose is to work closely with the Hydraluron Moisture Booster and provide the ultimate skincare. You can read my thought on Hydraluron Moisture Booster here, but in a nutshell I didn't see a massive difference in my skin when using it (although my mum loved it). Since it is a serum which you use before applying your normal moisturiser, it may not always work properly, unless you're using the best moisturiser from your skincare stash. Now your task is super easy - simply get the Hydraluron Moisture Jelly, which has its ingredients maxed out to provide the best nourishment to your face. I really love this product and for the first time I can see a difference in my skin since I've incorporated both into my routine. My face feels plumped, hydrated and very fresh in the morning. It has a unique jelly formula (reminds me of The Body Shop Vitamin E Aqua Boost Sorbet) and a packaging, which helps you dispense perfect does every time. I was also lucky to get Indeed Labs Hydraluron Moisture Boosting Mask from the same range, so definitely stay tuned for my update on it.
I still remember getting my first ever bronzer from Bourjois - it was original Délice de Poudre and I got it from my husband (then boyfriend), because it smelled like chocolate! I was hooked on Bourjois ever since and now I am proud to present you two new additions to their bronzer family which will hit the shops on 6th August (RRP £7.99).
Bourjois Délice de Poudre DUO* is a bronzing powder and a highlighter in one. Packed in a cute cardboard packaging it also has a sweet scent of chocolate. Deep chocolate matte shade gives the face a pretty natural tan, while shading and defining contours the face. The white chocolare illuminating shade instantly adds highlights to the complexion, sculpting the face. It is perfect for everyday use or to take on holidays!
Bourjois Délice de Poudre Or* is a gold bronzing powder which is simply ideal for summer. It gives your tan a summer gold with a touch of gold and also has this sweet chocolate fragrance. The powder is very finely milled and includes fine golden pearly extracts to add extra illumination to your face and desired areas. One of the make up artist tips I've picked up is to dust it across eyelids for a gleaming eyeshadow.
Have you tried original Bourjois bronzer?
Real Techniques Core Collection is my first step into the world of Real Techniques brushes. I know - shocking! - but I was very faithful to my The Body Shop brushes and some cheaper alternatives to Real Techniques brushes from eBay. But I couldn't resist any longer and recently decided to get Core Collection set of four brushes designed to create perfect and flawless base.
I love using this brush for contouring and also applying blusher and a highlighter - it's all in one, especially if I'm going away. I really love that it is slightly pointed, so application of the product can be super precise.
Pointed Foundation Brush
I am actually not using this to apply foundation (I prefer my fingers or Buffing Brush from this set), but to blend in concealer under my eyes. It is actually my least favourite from the set since I am not using it that often.
My most used and loved brush - I can blend my foundation so easily and seamlessly to achieve a flawless look. It's also great to blend in the contouring products, I just seem to be buffing my life away with it. I need to get back up very soon.
It's a nice brush for some tiny touch-ups, to use with concealer on some pesky spots and also for applying lipsticks.
What is your Real Techniques must-have brush?
dress* - WalG, shoes - New Look,
rings - Accessorize, bag - ZARA
How cute is this dress? I am not usually fan of a plaid/tartan prints, but it works so nice here with some flowers and a cute white collar. Although the colours are more autumnal than summery, so I've totally rocked it during the heatwave we're having in London lately. The dress's name on the website is 'Totally Clueless Collar Dress' and I can totally understand why - Cher Horowitz would certainly wear it! I've teamed it up with my ZARA Mini City Bag and some dainty gold rings.
MAC Creme D'Nude lipstick is another addition of a nude shade to my MAC lipsticks family. Described by some as a 'perfect nude' I definitely love this shade - very simple to put on thanks to the creamsheen finish - and the subtle colour flatters most skintones. It is very easily buildable, so you can get a soft look followed by a hint of lip gloss, or go all out and create perfect nude pout - very 1960s!
If there is a time to wear neon nail polish it's the summer! When I yearn for hot days and some sunshine in the winter I rebel a little bit and paint my toes in my favourite neon shade Models OWN Hedonist after applying some fake tan. Thankfully, I don't have to fake anything right now and with some nice tan I think I've found another neon favourite - also from Models OWN. Bubblegum comes from Ice Neon range, which comes in specially-designed frosted bottles that you should keep refrigerated to protect the intense fluoro colour from fading. It has a perfect pink neon shade which definitely helps me achieve some 'statement nails'. Just as with majority of neon nail polishes, it dries to matte, but with a little help of Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat I get perfect glossy manicure every time.
