New ZARA necklace and bracelet

I initially went to ZARA to get this hair band - so perfect for summer to give ancient Greek vibes - but when I tried it on in store I've found it inexplicably painful to wear! Those little combs literally dug into my skull and I knew then and there that sadly I'm not going to get it. After strolling through the aisles I've noticed this choker necklace with pearls and I remembered that I actually saw it on some blogger a while ago. It is not something I would normally buy and wear but I am strangely attracted to the gold hues and two big pearls at the ends. I think I can wear it with pearls showing at the front or not. I also noticed a matching bracelet nearby and grabbed it swiftly. I have a really hard time finding a nice bracelet which fits on my small wrists and this one is adjustable, so I know it will not fall from my hand.

What do you think of these pieces?

As you could see in my little Lime Crime haul, I got my first lipstick from this make up brand recently in the shade Airborne Unicorn. First impressions? Cuteness overload! Purple bullet with a holographic unicorn on the starry background hides a medium purple shade with cool undertones. It's definitely a statement lipstick and not for the faint hearted, but it will suit every skin tone, if you are not afraid to use it. I spent ages choosing the shade I wanted to get - Lime Crime has a colour range like no other brand - yellow, black, grey, forest green, mint and lilac. I was pondering whether to get a more wearable shade in peach or pink, but in the end settled for this one - mainly due to a unicorn name - and I'm not regretting it in the slightest. On the swatch above I am wearing a lipstick in full impact, but for a more everyday look I will simply dab some colour on the lips and put on some lip gloss over to smooth and add some shine.

Do you have any Lime Crime lipsticks?

Finally an outfit post! I don't know why lately it is so hard to get myself (and my husband) organised and shoot some outfit photos outside. Hopefully it will change, because I recently got some really nice fashion bits to show you. I wore this outfit yesterday for a bit of shopping - I got these River Island boots last week and they are so comfy, it feels like walking barefoot! I actually tried them on and then left the store only with my pink tote bag, but before I got to the tube I made a 180 degrees turn and went to get them - there was only one size 3 left for me, so I guess it was meant to be. I have been obsessed with getting a pair of boho boots like these for months now and I was contemplating getting this pair from ZARA, but I'm glad that in the end I went for River Island ones. I am also wearing Topshop MOM jeans and t-shirt from eBay which I tend to wear when working at home, but this time I decided that it suited the jeans perfectly. I added a bit of colour with my new Accessorize earrings - I cannot put these down and I'm happy to report that they are not heavy at all - what a relief!

MAC is definitely my biggest vice when it comes to make up and there's always something I am lusting after from the permanent or limited edition collections. I saved up for literally months to go for a shopping spree your dreams are made of and I am so happy to get everything I wanted! Obviously this haul is seriously lipstick heavy - I love MAC lipsticks and I treat them more like an investment than a random buy. This time I went for more wearable and nude shades, with a random pop of colour. I've finally got the elusive Candy Yum Yum - it is going to be perfect for summer! I also wanted to get some eyeshadows (so far I only have Coppering and Goldmine in my stash) to create some everyday looks. It was really hard to choose the shades I wanted and from the multiple swatching trips to the stores, reading reviews on other blogs and listening closely to advice on Twitter, I've settled for Nylon, Sable, Mythology and All That Glitters - pretty much all well known and loved shades. I think I could maybe invested in one darker shade, but everything will come in time. Of course stay tuned for more detailed reviews - I can't wait to dive into and get creative!

What's in my weekend away make up bag...

weekend away make up essentials

I decided to share with you my make up choices for our weekend away in Oxford. I took few trusty items which are proven to be useful in various situations - from a fresh daytime look to a night-time glam. My base products were from Bourjois - I've picked Happy Light Luminous Serum Primer, 123 Perfect CC Cream, and 123 Perfect CC Eye Cream - since I wanted to achieve a healthy glow. For my eye make up I took MUA Pro-Base Eye Primer which is my favourite eye primer, MUA Undress Me Too palette which is really versatile and light and Bourjois Twist-Up The Volume mascara which I am yet to review on the blog properly although I've mentioned it on my YouTube Channel a couple of times - lately it is my favourite mascara and I love how it delivers the promise of voluminous lashes. I also took Bourjois Blush in Rose de Jaspe that is a perfect understated shade. My lip products were Burt's Bees Lip Balm with Pink Grapefruit, Revlon Lip Butter in Cotton Candy and a more statement shade - MAC Flat Out Fabulous. Some additional items which I always make sure to carry in my make up bag are Cath Kidston Blossom Hand Cream and Next Gold Eau de Parfum - both are miniature and light, so perfect for travelling.

What are your weekend away make up essentials?

Lately I fancied a statement colour injection to my nails and to go with the Pantone Color of the Year 2014 - Radiant Orchid. I think I've found a perfect shade to emulate this strong purple shade - Essie dj play that song. It is a perfect combination of purple hues with a hint of neon - not too dark and not too light too. A great and inexpensive way to stay updated on the Pantone trend.

As promised in yesterday's post about the brand new The Body Shop Body Sorbets range, today I am sharing you something for your face: The Body Shop Vitamin E Aqua Boost Sorbet* (RRP £10). Also launching on 16th July, this skin-quenching sorbet is a new addition to the much loved Vitamin E range. Skin needs water to stay plump and hydrated. Vitamin E Aqua Boost Sorbet contains Aqua Sphere technology - microscopic moisture spheres that act like tiny reservoirs and hold hundreds of times weight in pure water. Each pot contains over 2 million Aqua Spheres, delivering a 24 hour feed of moisture to your skin. It also contains mineral particles that help to absorb oil and mattify and the feather-light, sorbet texture simply sinks into the skin, so you can stay shine-free, fresh and confident all summer long. It is such a pleasure to use and I use it as my primer and let it sink in properly before applying foundation. Just like with Body Sorbets, I can't wait to store in the Vitamin E Aqua Boost Sorbet in the fridge during the summer for some refreshing coolness to beat the heat.

The Body Shop is one of my favourite brands and it never ceases to amaze me. It definitely listened to customers saying that their famous Body Butters can be too heavy for spring and summer, so it has developed and is releasing a whole new range of Body Sorbets* (RRP £7) on 16th July. Body Sorbets will deliver you a frosty burst of moisture in the summer to keep your body hydrated and fight the heat. To get that frosty feeling you simply store the tub in the fridge and pop it open for a nice sensation. They will come in four fruity flavours from the permanent range, which everyone loves: Mango, Strawberry, Pink Grapefruit and Satsuma - and one floral fragrance - Moringa. All of the Body Sorbets contain 100% organic Community Fair Trade Aloe Vera from Guatemala to comfort, cool and soothe skin frazzled by the summer heat. They smell absolutely amazing too and the scent lingers on the skin for a really long time. The formula is very light and sinks into the skin instantly. They are perfect to use all year round, but I can't wait to use them especially in the summer with Mango and Pink Grapefruit scents being my firm favourites.

P.S. Stay tuned for tomorrow's post about another addition to the Sorbet range - this time for your face!

Pür Minerals is releasing new Colour Collection of Lipsticks, Glosses and Blushers infused with powerful anti-aging wine extract in beautiful new shades. This collection is perfect for the 'No Makeup Make Up' look since all shades are easy to wear and include a beautiful collection of powder and cream blushers, rich lipsticks in vibrant colours and mega-shine lip glosses. Pür Minerals Blush* in Kinky is a finely milled powder blush and sits perfectly on the skin to define cheekbones and give a hint of colour. It is definitely my favourite product from the collection which has a beautiful pink shade with a subtle gold shimmer. Pür Minerals Lipstick* in Debutante has rich colour and the formula is full of mineral pigments and skincare ingredients. Although it may look scary and dark in the bullet, on the lips it transforms to an easy-wearable, everyday shade. Pür Minerals Lip Gloss* in Exposed is packed with grape seed extract and gives a high shine and hydration. I am not huge fan of this shade, but with few dabs of the product layered on the lipstick, I can achieve perfect glossy pout.

Pür Minerals is available exclusively from Marks & Spencer's.

Happy Easter! I wasn't planning of any particular Easter designs like little chickens and bunnies on my nails this year, so I opted for a mixture of pastel shades with some gold and glitter accents. I think they look very cute and certainly brighten up my Easter Sunday during this miserable downpour we have in London today. I was tempted to add few dots, but in the end decided to keep the nails fresh and release shades's full potential. I've used Illamasqua Spartan (sparkling gold), Essie go ginza (lilac), Barry M Sugar Apple (minty fresh), Barry M Dragon (pink), Revlon Girly (glittery pink top coat) and Sinful Colors Unicorn (mellow yellow).

What's on your nails today?

I am truly enjoying my Easter break so far with some good food, relaxing books, drinking copious amounts of tea and good bad TV. I thought that to go with the Easter theme I will show you the things that recently make me smile and enjoy life - even if a little bit - it's all in the little things, right? So first is the amazing Timothy Dunn Blue Rose candle which smells absolutely divine. I seriously cannot get enough of this scent full of roses, peonies, gentian, forget-me-nots and jasmine - it is simply perfect for spring and I am lighting it every single day to change my flat into English country garden oasis. Also, how amazing is the candle's design - all white, sleek and fresh, it's definitely a welcomed addition to my nightstand. I urge you to check out these candles - you can find them in Harrods, Fortnum & Mason and Liberty of London to name a few. Next is one of my all time favourite perfumes: Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker, which I've mentioned on the blog many times before. I simply love its fresh scent full of orchids, apple martini and white amber. The ballet dancer-inspired perfume bottle also looks very chic. I'm also munching on Mini Eggs - send help because I'm getting seriously addicted! I prefer them much more to Creme Eggs - which ones win your heart? I've bought these beautiful earrings from Accessorize last week. Although I haven't worn them yet, I just love having them on a display - they are just so pretty and sparkly with a right amount of neon and pastel hues. Last, but not least - fresh flowers - guaranteed to put me in a good mood, no matter what time of the year, but I especially enjoy pink and purple spring flowers.

I saw this River Island Light Pink Mini Structured Tote Bag (£30) featured on a couple of bloggers's wishlists and I've fallen in love. I instantly checked the dimensions and saw that it is small and compact (exactly what I want!), so I knew I had to see it up close in the store. First River Island I visited only had gold, white and black versions, but I didn't give up and hunted it down in another branch. And it is amazing! I literally snapped it up fast and there were only two more left on the rail. It has the most amazing shade - pastel pink, reminds me of an ice-cream, but isn't washed out - has this neon vibrancy to it. I absolutely love the clip top gold fastening, two zip pockets and the fact that I can carry it in my hand or use the shoulder strap. I expect this will be THE summer bag for me and it will feature a lot on the blog.

Do you like this bag or something else recently caught your eye?

I waited impatiently for this Bourjois release, literally counting the days to find it in Boots and Superdrug. After swatching all available shades, I've settled on these two Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet lipsticks in 05 Olé Flamingo! and 06 Pink Pong. However, I also want to get a red shade 01 Personne Ne Rouge and 07 Nude-ist, but I've found the latter one only on the blogs which were sent the lipsticks from the PRs, to review ahead of the launch! I searched all Boots and Superdrug stores in central London, asked Bourjois on Twitter, but I have no answer to when and even if this shade will become available - super annoying! If you will spot it somewhere - please let me know! (Just a follow up info: Bourjois responded to my tweet and shade 07 Nude-ist is set to launch in July.)

The formula of this liquid lipsticks is very light and velvet. It creates perfect matte and statement pout which doesn't smudge and the applicator is a dream to use - glides on the lips. I simply love it! When I am not in the mood to go out there with the colour of my lips and prefer something more subtle, I simply use my fingertips to dab some colour on. On the swatches they look quite glossy because of the flash, but I assure you that in real life they have this amazing super-matte finish. 05 Olé Flamingo! has great coral undertones and will look perfect with a tan, while 06 Pink Pong is all pink and bold.

Which shade do you prefer?
