Making my own face cream with Trilogy

Making my own face cream with Trilogy

Last week I was lucky to have an amazing experience of making my own face cream with Trilogy. Trilogy is a New Zealand skincare brand which contains only the finest natural ingredients in fresh formulations. I haven't tried anything from the brand before, but I am really intrigued by it and also how eco and animal-friendly it is.

At the event, I was given a mixture of products and actually couldn't believe it that in few minutes I had my very own pot of face cream! I started with sniffing the mixture of essential oils (that reminded me of some fat, yuck!) which included Trilogy's famous Rosehip Oil. Then using a syringe I added 13ml of warm water. Next step was mixing water and oil together and as you may know it is not easy. I used syringe and sucking the oil and water in and out over and over again, so it merged together. Of course it is all done mechanically in Trilogy factory. I didn't want my face cream to be watery, I like it to be on a thicker side, so I added 13ml of water, but going 2ml more would make it more runny. After few minutes of doing the hard work I've noticed that the two ingredients merged and I found myself with having a pot of my face cream! Then came the very last part of adding a drop of fragrance oil, it was very herbal, so I decided to get a very small drop since I am not a huge fan of herbal scents.

All I have to do now is to keep my pot in a cool and dark space (sun may separate the oils) and use it in my night-time skincare routine. I absolutely love it! It feels very fresh and makes my skin feel nourished and hydrated when I wake up in the morning. When I will finish my pot, I can always repurchase Trilogy Rosapene Night Cream since I was basing my work at the event on this hero-product.
