Vichy Dermablend range review

Following the success of the award-winning Vichy Dermablend Fluid Corrective Foundation, 2014 is the year of expansion of the Dermablend range. A little history behind the brand: in 1981 Dr N. Craig Roberts, an American dermatologist, concerned with wife's facial vitiligo that caused her a lot of unhappiness, developed an extreme coverage foundation to camouflage depigmentation of the skin. He ensured that it had a high dermatological tolerance, so it would be suitable even for most sensitive skin. After a while, a new additions were developed to enhance women's beauty and the Dermablend range grew bigger.

This year, some new products are hitting the shelves to provide the wide choice of products, but still maintaining the same high coverage and light weight formula. Unfortunately at the launch, they have run out of samples suited to my fair skin tone, so for now I am presenting you some bits from the Medium range.

Vichy Dermablend Corrective Compact Cream Foundation*

The formula is flexible and blends easily to give a natural looking coverage and finish. Vichy Dermablend Total Body Corrective Foundation*
New body foundation which gives a buildable and long lasting coverage that leaves the skin feeling smooth. Gives high cover to moderate-severe body imperfections or concerns like scars, tattoos, stretch marks and varicose veins. The foundation is ultra resilient with a 16 hour hold, it is water, sweat and rub resistant too! RRP £29.75

Vichy Dermablend Setting Powder*
This transparent powder has been formulated to strengthen and extend the hold of Dermablend foundations, it provides a rub, sweat and water resistant finish, even in extreme conditions for up to 16 hours. Gives matt and natural looking finish. RRP £17

Two other products are brand new Vichy Dermablend Corrective Stick (RRP £15) and aforementioned star of the range Vichy Dermablend Fluid Corrective Foundation (RRP £17).
