LUSH Immaculate Eggception Yellow Bath Bomb review

As a recent treat, I've bought myself LUSH Immaculate Eggception Yellow Bath Bomb. It comes in yellow in pink, but I didn't know that and there was only yellow one in store which I've picked up. First impressions were great - it is very big and heavy, smells really nice - like powdery lemon scent - not too zesty and not too sweet. However, the pros end here and I am sad to say that I was disappointed with it. Not knowing that I should crack the egg to discover a hidden bath bomb inside - either a yellow chick or a white bunny - I threw the egg in and missed on some additional cuteness. Furthermore, all of my hopes of water changing into a nicely coloured bath were quickly dashed when few seconds of sizzling and fizzling (I barely had time to take the photos!) confirmed my worst suspicion - the water just simply stayed yellow. Let me tell you - of all the bath colours I guess this is the least appealing one. The nice scent still lingered on my skin in the morning, but the overall experience wasn't pleasant, so I definitely advise you to choose a pink option if you're looking for some Easter bath-time pamper.

  1. Shame it hasn't lived up to expectations! It does look lovely however. But I don't find a yellow bath too appealing... it looks a bit suspect!! xx

  2. I think a few of the lush bath bombs over the last few months have been quite disappointing. More style over substance xx
