Just in time for spring and summer L'Oréal is releasing a new Miss Denim collection. As the name suggests, it is inspired by the denim - textures, colours and the effect of effortless coolness. The collection consists of four nail polish shades with texturised effect imitating jeans, four matte lip glosses/lipsticks and two eyeliners. All products are launching in May, so they're only a month away!
I got my nails painted at the press event with the beautiful pale blue shade of Color Riche Miss Denim Nails in Azur Salopette. As you can see on the photo above, it has a texture effect, similar to Nails Inc and Barry M offerings. However, this particular shade is so unique I was instantly drawn to it like a moth to a flame. For the last couple of days I wore two coats of this nail polish with no top coat and I haven't experienced any chipping, so I must say it has excellent quality. The other shades available are Indigo Classique - a deep navy colour resembling classic jeans, Bermuda Rose - dark pink shade - and Jean & Tonic - pale pink/peachy shade (see photo) (RRP £4.99).
Superliner Perfect Slim got two new shades - blue and green (RRP £6.99). I personally love the look of this emerald green shade and it makes me feel more determined than ever to master the perfect cat-eye flick. It's going to be amazing to play with in the summer. Glam Matte lipsticks (RRP £7.99) remind me more of lip glosses with matte finish. There are four shades available (Fuchsia Flare, Coral Denimista, Cherry Crop and Zip It Red) (see photo) ranging from pink, red and coral tones with powdery finish which surprisingly doesn't dry the lips. As you can see from the swatch above, Glam Matte it can be worn layered on for a more glossy and opaque effect or simply dabbed on the lips and gently blended on the lips with the finger for a more subtle look. I truly expect them to be a huge hit, the formula is simply amazing with no dry or flaky lip in sight and amazing colour payoff.
