Nivea is one of my all-time favourite brands and I think seriously underestimated by bloggers, especially since it is very inexpensive and worldwide-available. Ever since I was a little girl I sneakily used my mum's classic Nivea cream and later bought my first 'proper' lip balm I've fallen in love with the products and until this day all my deodorants, majority of my hand creams and lip balms are from Nivea. Lately I was suffering with really dry skin, especially my nose was getting really flaky and not pleasant to deal with. I remembered that I've suffered from a similar problem few years back, before I started blogging and remembered that Nivea creams were my saviour, so I decided to take advantage of current Boots 3 for 2 offer and got some much needed stuff. I have already gone and repurchased all of these skincare products more than once, but when they've finished last year I halted my repurchase since my bathroom cabinets are already bursting with plenty of skincare. Oh how wrong I was - it turns out Nivea should always be on my skincare shelf!

NIVEA Daily Essentials Express Hydration Primer For Dry & Sensitive Skin
This is hands down the best budget primer I have ever tried. It beats any other offerings and the only superior primer in my opinion is Laura Mercier Foundation Primer, which I use on special occasions, because it is costly. Nivea primer does exactly what it says on packaging - it hydrates your face, literally hydrates it and I usually skip applying face cream when I'm using it. It is very fast absorbing thanks to its light texture, but you still need less than a minute for it to sink in properly - otherwise it may flake when you put your foundation on immediately. The same goes with the amount of product - you only need a tiny bit and this 50ml pot will last you ages, I always threw it away before I finish it, because I don't want to use product which goes funky. My personal tip is to keep it in the fridge in the summer for few minutes before applying, so you get coolness effect which feels wonderful on the skin. In terms of your foundation staying power - it's amazing! I seriously love this product and have nothing but praise. The only negative is that it comes in a glass pot, so it's hard to travel with and unhygienic - pump bottle please!

NIVEA Daily Essentials Light Moisturising Day Cream For Dry & Sensitive Skin
This daily face cream has a thick consistency and it is really hydrating for my water-deprived skin. It is enriched with almond oil and vitamin E and helps to protect the skin from sunlight and premature ageing with SPF 15. Despite the thick consistency it sinks in fast and good, but tend not to use it on a hot summer day, because it makes me feel greasy. But unless the temperature hits over 25 degrees and your suffering from the oily skin, you will love it. I never get this dreaded 'tight' feeling on my skin when I use it regularly with the other products mentioned here. It smells wonderful too and makes your skin soft, with no dry patches or any irritation. Once again, little goes a long way and because it is so rich, you only need a tiny amount to cover the entire face.

NIVEA Daily Essentials Rich Regenerating Night Cream For Dry & Sensitive Skin
This is a true saviour of my skin and my hero product. When you are suffering from any dry skin, get the pot of this pronto! It has a rich and thick texture which sinks into the skin really well (it doesn't need to sink it that fast since it is night cream) and I wake up in the morning with the wonderfully hydrated skin. Regular use will prevent any flaky skin and dry patches. It has a very nice subtle scent and I love using it. The only issue I have - just as with the primer - is that I'd love it to be in the pump bottle or at least a tub, like day cream.

NIVEA In-shower Body Moisturiser For Dry Skin*
One of the newest Nivea releases is this body moisturiser/skin conditioner designed to be used in the shower. The instructions to use are really easy: cleansing with the normal shower product and rinsing off, applying In-shower Body Moisturiser while still in the shower and rinising it off, drying yourself and getting dressed. It is great to use when you are in a hurry and still want to treat your body to some moisture - who wants the hassle of waiting for body butter to dry in the morning? After trying it a couple of times I must admit that my skin was feeling sliky smooth and I was able to put on my clothes immediately without any staining or greasy feeling. The key is amount you put on - rather put too little than too much. Smells really lovely (classic Nivea scent) and leaves skin soft and refreshed.

Do you use any Nivea products? Which ones are your favourites?
