My Korres lip butters

Korres lip butters have been waiting patiently in my drawer for months before I actually remembered I have them. With my Burt's Bees Lip Balm with Mango Butter running out rapidly, I decided to finally whip them out and give them a go. I've bought them in Sephora in Poland, but I know they are getting more and more accessible in the UK. Korres is a Greek brand which is fairly new to me, but from the reviews I see that people are enjoying its skincare, so if you have any suggestions, let me know!

Korres Jasmine Lip Butter
Packed in this cute little pot is a very buttery and soft lip balm which gives my lips a delicate shine and a hint of colour. I am not usually a fan of jasmine scents, but this one is so subtle it is a pleasure to use. I love the design of the packaging - feels luxurious but not over the top - and also the fact that the lids are colour-coordinated according to the lip butter's 'flavours'.

Korres Mandarin Lip Butter
I wanted to get a lip balm, which I can top up on-the-go. I love my Carmex Cherry Lip Balm pot, but it is not necessarily hygienic to use when you are out and about. I must admit I was primarily drawn to the design on the lid - it's just so cute and artsy. I am not a fan of mandarin scents (although I like the fruit!), but once again Korres proved me wrong and I really enjoy the fresh and zesty aroma this lip butter has. The formula is hydrating and it glides on your lips effortlessly. It gives a much stronger hint of colour on your lips, but I personally like it - I can top it up with any lip gloss from my stash and I am ready in no time.

Did you try any of Korres lip butters? What do you think about them?

  6. I have the mango scented lip butter pot, and I really didn't like it.. It left my finger bright orange and sticky after applying it :( a pale pink shade like this would be a lot more travel friendly, or the stick formulation! I so wanted to love it though! Xx

  8. I like the Korres lip butters, but I prefer products in a tube. So I don't' have to stick my dirty fingers in a pot if I'm using it on the go.

  9. I've had my eye on the Jasmine lip butter for a while now! So glad to here that it's only subtly fragranced, as overly perfumed lib balms tend to irritate my lips and make them dry and sore - will give this one a go when I get round to it (: x
