There are new additions to the L'Oréal nail polish family coming up this and next month - just in time for spring.

First is Color Riche Les Blancs collection* of four new monochromatic shades that deliver a pure, fresh finish. Infused with a hint of colour they create a perfect spring and summer nail accessory. The colours are inspired by the sugary sweet pastel hues and fine porcelain. They are very delicate shades and would suit everyone. I love the formula which gives a perfect finish with simply one stroke. Also, usually the white-based nail polishes are hard to apply, but these are completely streak-free from the first layer. It's not a secret that I was immediately drawn to a beautiful minty shade of Pistachio Drage, but I also love the look of the other three: Lemon Meringue, Nouvelle Vague and Peach Neglige. Pastels are one of my favourite trends and I love the look of these clean, modern, timeless and very feminine shades.
In stores from March, RRP £4.99.

Secondly are the brand new additions to the Color Riche Top Coats collection*. Inspired by the icons of elegance for a collection of three high fashion finishes: tweeds (Jackie O and Coco Chanel), Gold Leaf (gives fingers the Midas touch with a finish of golden excess) and Disco Ball (full of shimmering holographic particles). Easy to spice up the look of your nails with just a one simple stroke.
In stores from February, RRP £4.99.

And here is Pistachio Drage and Jackie O on my nails:

Do you like these collections? Will you pick up any of these shades?
I suspect Coco Chanel will be a huge sell-out, even if for the name - who wouldn't want to have nail polish named after her?

  3. The pastel collection looks so beautiful! Amazing that they're completely opaque after one coat, I usually need about 3 with lighter shades.

  10. Just out of curiosity, but do you consider yourself to be cruelty free? I noticed you mentioned being a vegan, and have the leaping bunny advertisement on the bottom of your page... But L'oreal (along with a few other products you've mentioned on your blog) isn't a cruelty free company. I hope I'm not coming off as offensive, just trying to understand.
