One of my New Year resolutions is to master the skill of contouring. Last year I promised myself to get acquainted with eyeshadows and it payed off beautifully when I stepped into the world of glitter, eyeshadow palettes and blending. I've bought this Sleek Face Contour Kit in December and it has waited patiently in my make up drawer until recently, when I finally decided to give it a go. It comes in a nice sturdy packaging with a big mirror, which is always a bonus. On the right side is a beautiful highlighter and on the left a bigger-sized matte bronzer. I've bought the kit in the shade Light - so I knew it will suit my skintone perfectly, since I am always wary of getting bronzers which may look too dark on my skin. I also love the attached tips and tricks on how to accentuate your cheekbones and contour your nose. I think it's a great kit for someone starting the contouring adventure, who wants to have it all in a neat little compact and who doesn't want to spend a lot.

What are your contouring tips and tricks? Please let me know!

  1. Contouring is easy, as long as its blended it'll look flawless x

  2. I absolutely love this! I'd just recommend starting off very lightly, and build up if necessary. And lots of blending too, I take a large powder blush to my entire face after I've done everything :)

  9. That highlight looks so pretty! I'm on the hunt for a highlight powder as well but Sleek products aren't sold here so I'll have to look for another. My tip is to watch some YT videos seriously there are lots of good ones to teach you how to!

  11. I'm using the same contour kit from Sleek, it does the job perfectly.
I apply the bronzer with my Zoeva Luxe Sheer Cheek brush and give it an extra blend with the foundation brush I just beforehand, so the contour looks really natural. Then I apply the highlighter with my fingertip or a brush, it depends if I can find my brush (:
