PIXI Eye Glow Cube* is a collection of 16 amazing eyeshadows and two eye base powders all encased in a beautiful mint green packaging. You can find everything you can wish for in here from creamy gold, nude, caramel and ancient bronze colours to purple and dark shades, all ready to give you lustrous metallic finish.

What makes this palette unique is the fact that it has the eye base powders which can totally transform your look. Left powder has a matte finish and the one on the right is shimmery and more suited for a night-time look. You can see on the swatches how different does the eyeshadow look depending on which base powder you use and I think it's an excellent idea to have this all in one place. For the swatches I've used the vibrant purple shade - last one in the second row and gunmetal shade which is just underneath it.

As I mentioned before, the eyeshadow selection is great in this palette and it's great that you can achieve even more looks than you think. The only negative thing for me is including two duo applicators which are too big for the drawer and tend to get on the way when you want to open it, so PIXI should either get rid of them, make the drawer a little bit deeper or change the type of applicators. I was struggling a lot when I tried to open it for the first time and was worried that I may shatter some eyeshadows, so I threw applicators away immediately after that.

  9. This looks like a really fun palette. I like the packaging - Pixi products always look young & fun. Its quite shimmery, but that wouldn't bother me I do like wearing these kinds of shades.
