Taking a huge advantage of recent 3 for 2 offer on nail polishes in Superdrug, I grew my collection on Essie nail polishes. Some of them are classics like Fiji (apparently owned by every beauty blogger!), but there are also shades from the current summery collection: Naughty Nautical and Sunday Funday - both having a delicate glitter/shimmery finish - and The More The Merrier. I can't wait to show you some manicures featuring these shades!

Illamasqua prize and sale haul

A while ago some of you may remember amazing Illamasqua 50% sale and my little haul post when I've bough two lipsticks and coveted Harem nail polish. After placing my order I had a look at the Illamasqua website and saw competition which involved answering one super-easy question and giving the details. I've entered not really thinking about it, so imagine my surprise when I actually won! I love my wins, especially the Scandal lipstick and Neutral Quad Palette featuring powder shadows in Stealth, Vintage, Obsidian and Wolf. I'm eager to mix limited edition Skin Base Foundation with added gold shimmer with my foundation to add this extra glow to my face.

When passing Illamasqua Carnaby Street store on the weekend I saw that the sale was going on, with extra 10% off on the day. I couldn't simply walk past by. I left with two nail polishes (£4.50 each!) in Swinger and Untold and a beautiful S.O.P.H.I.E. blusher in a perfect golden coral shimmer shade, which I wanted to get for a long time.

A S.O.P.H.I.E. collection supports The Sophie Lancaster Foundation. On 11th August 2007, 20 year-old Sophie Lancaster and her boyfriend Robert Maltby were kicked, stamped on and left unconscious – for nothing more than looking different. Sophie later died from her injuries. The Sophie Lancaster Foundation was set up by Sylvia Lancaster, a youth worker and Sophie's mother, in her memory, and works to stamp out intolerance and discrimination in society.

ASOS A/W 2013 Collection 2013, A/W, ASOS, high street fashion, trends, UK fashion,

Last week I was lucky to enter the universe of ASOS and see a sneak preview of the A/W collection. After getting lost and a long walk to find the ASOS headquarters I was welcomed with a glass of bubbly and talked thorough an amazing collection which will win the hearts of all fashionistas out there! Thank you ASOS for having me!

The collection consists of four main trends: Common Folk, Almost Famous, Vandals and Shaman but you can also see plenty of accessories (the bigger jewellery, the better) like small statement bags, velvet shoes and gifts for your BFFs!

My favourite trend (no surprises here) has to be Common Folk - with the colour flowers, embroideries and country feeling. The dress was my favourite piece from the collection and I already made a space in my wardrobe.

WHAT I WORE TODAY: my current favourite summer dress

dress - Primark, shoes - New Look,
necklace - New Look, earrings - River Island

This Primark dress has been an absolute staple in my wardrobe this summer. I already wore it so many times I've lost count and got numerous questions where I got it. I think it's the dress of my summer - fits me perfectly, has a cute floral print and is ideal for hot days and evenings.

This time I wore it with my cute cherry jewellery - bought separately both necklace and earrings compliment each other and look so much cute I couldn't resist teaming them up. I remember that I got the earrings during River Island sale for mere 50p - such a good bargain!

How to grow my Chanel fund?

Lately, I have been trying to earn a few pennies (and grow my Chanel fund) by selling some of my unwanted items.
I went to a couple of car boot sales, where I had to wake up early to secure my spot and still wasn't as successful as I thought. There is also a problem of me going to "just to look around" the other stalls and coming back with some extra finds (bad economics!).

I've tried eBay which seems very unlucky for me - I rarely get the price I wanted despite reading few guides on how to sell my clothes, shoes and bags... It seems my items are either under priced or overpriced - and getting money from some of the buyers is almost a miracle!

So far I have found that there are 9 major principles for selling on eBay (next time I’m determined to stick to them all):
Research – If you know exactly what you want to sell then that's great, but check out your potential competitors;
Photography – One single, and poorly shot, photo on each of your listings is not going to help you become a successful seller;
Prose – Creating a decent description – honest and detailed will give you more chance to enable a bidding war between the buyers;
Small Print – Set out your policies clearly and firmly, but in a friendly manner. Make sure your postage rates are not hidden in your listings, and don't overcharge for P&P;
Payment Methods – If you're serious about selling, you have to offer Paypal as a payment method. There's no getting away from it, and it's essential for receiving payments from buyers overseas;
Communication – Customers expect to be kept informed, every step of the way, and that means a sale confirmation email, a payment received email, and a despatch confirmation email;
Packing – Describe how you pack your items, in detail, to show your customers what a great service they can expect from you;
Posting – Make sure you get everything right and try to foresee problems before they happen, such as address errors, damage, over or undercharging, Post Office scale errors, forgetting the customs label, and so on;
Feedback – Be patient and build up your feedback by buying your postal supplies, and other things you may need, from other eBay sellers;

I recently discovered another way to sell my stuff for cash - musicMagpie. The service is free to use and it's also free to send your stuff by dropping it off at one of 5,000 local Send Shop or use free insured courier service. I packed some of my clothes and jewellery I no longer wanted and chose to get paid by the bank transfer et voilá!

If you have any tips on selling - please share!

China Blue Pattern

Lately I seem to be obsessed by the beautiful China Blue patterns. I looked everywhere and even though most of these Miss Selfridge and Topshop dresses are now sold out (and I cannot splurge for this Temperley London number), I am thinking of adding some touch to my place with this Sanderson Wallpaper which I found after a lot of searching! Today's visit to Wallace Collection, which has the finest museum collection of Sèvres porcelain in the world (used by Louis XV and his mistress madame de Pompadour) just confirmed my adoration for this porcelain-esque delicate designs which also look like something out of my grandmother's priced possessions. The subtle prints of these dresses, looking like something from a museum of fine art just prove that the worlds of art and fashion are truly entwined.

The blue and white antique/China prints has been on the catwalk for quite some time, seen at Roberto Cavalli, Joseph, Dolce and Gabbana and Tory Burch shows. For me it’s one of the best current trends – I love the fact that it is inspired by the old-fashioned Chinese porcelain and pottery. Pairing up crisp white shirt, blazer or a cardigan with the porcelain print for sure guarantees a timeless and chic look. As you can see, the trend is so versatile it can be found in both formal and casual wear, accessories (like scarves and headbands) and even as an addition to your home in form of a wallpaper or a true statement porcelain tray. Incorporating the Blue China porcelain motif into the summer wardrobe is a brilliant idea – it gives an air of freshness and it is a super quick way to look feminine and chic. As you can see, porcelain prints are the perfect way to make a graceful and stylish fashion statement.

Current Favourite New Look Bags

I am on a hunt for a new bag and New Look seems to be answering my prayers! I have my eye on few Zara numbers, but I think I'll end up with some of these - honestly, is it just me or did New Look stepped up their game in terms of accessories and handbags? I recently went to their Christmas Press Day and believe me, there are some true gems to be found starting October!

Nude and Pink Bow Satchel (£19.99) is a super cute satchel featuring an oversized pink bow detail is a perfect way to accessorise your outfit in a true girly girl style.
Stone Structured Snake Skin Bag (£19.99) is a classic ultra feminine structured bag which I'd wear on my wrist for the office and on my weekends off, I'd throw it over my shoulder for an effortless chic look.
Beige Addicted To Shopping Purse (£3.99) has written my confession for the whole world to see!
White Transparent Clutch (£9.99) is something I wanted in my wardrobe for a long time. It adds a contemporary twist to any outfit and is perfect for strategically showing off my prize possessions whilst keeping them safe and in style.
Black Colour Block Winged Satchel (£19.99) has a great on trend colour block design and nice twist lock and buckle fastening. I also like that I could carry it by the handle or use shoulder strap.
Cream Eyelet Winged Shopper Bag (£17.99) is a gorgeous leather-look shopper in a classic hue - ideal for giving an outfit a city girl edge and it's ideal for everyday wear.
Red Stone and Black Colour Block Winged Clutch (£12.99) has been on my wishlist for a long time. I adore the colours and the fact that it has optional chain strap making it ideal for all formal outings and date nights!
Blue Stone and Black Snake Print Metal Trim Clutch (£15.99) caught my eye thanks to the unusual metal trim details and the vibrant blue colour.

Current favourite dresses from Alice Temperley and Thakoon

I don’t know about you, but for time to time I simply love looking at the most luxurious clothes online. Lately my escape was Avenue 32 – online luxury fashion UK retailer. My current favourites are from Alice Temperley and Thakoon. I am on a hunt of similar pieces on the high street – if you see anything – let me know!

Alice Temperley always had a special place in my  heart – her dresses are just gorgeous! The timeless pieces with trendy twists ooze classic and feminine style. Embellishment, captivating prints and a touch of English eccentricity are all key cornerstones. For Pre-Fall 2013 Alice looks to her favourite winged motifs and applies these to her Art Deco-like silhouettes. Reminiscent of 1950s holiday wear, the collection features feather printed silk whipped into maxi dresses and separates, ribbon belted column gowns with delicate applique, and even pencil dresses in feather patterned intarsia.

Oyster Pleats And Lace Dress is a beautifully crafted dress with sheer cut-outs and lace panelling. Perfect for summer and will suit every occasion. White Pavan Print Dress has an amazing print combining nautical shades with a hint of yellow. Perfect 1950s shape give the dresses a very feminine shape and can easily transform you to an extra from Mad Men. Add a pair of black pumps or stiletto heels and you’re set for any adventure that you may have.
Nautical shades and a sophisticated 1950s shape mix effortlessly on this feminine cut dress. The exclusive Temperley print on crisp cotton creates a casual glamour that will work equally well in the city or in the resort. Pair with simple black pumps for a chic silhouette.and this beautifully crafted dress with its sheer cut-outs and lace panelling will ensure you are the envy of the occasion.and this beautifully crafted dress with its sheer cut-outs and lace panelling will ensure you are the envy of the occasion.and this beautifully crafted dress with its sheer cut-outs and lace panelling will ensure you are the envy of the occasion.and this beautifully crafted dress with its sheer cut-outs and lace panelling will ensure you are the envy of the occasion.

Thakoon is the mainline collection of Thakoon Panichgul, who spent four years as a writer and editor for Harper’s Bazaar before eventually deciding to try his hand at design and launching his own label. Innovative and fashion forward designs distinguish him from other designers and give a breath of fresh air. For pre-fall 2013 Thakoon muses on the idea of elegance and modern classics. This translates as polished A-line skirts and dresses softened with Mongolian lamb fur knitwear, interior-inspired florals and modern apron dresses in men’s suiting fabric.

My ultimate dress has to be this Blue Cotton PeplumShirtdress which for me is something what a Dorothy’s from The Wizard of Oz would wear today. The simply shirt dress has been redesigned and given peplum and draping, transforming it into something very stylish and chic – I love it! Another hit number is Grey Fine WoolDress – once again simple and chic with a twist. Layering with poplin cotton that peeks out at the hem gives the dress this fashion forward look that can be easily incorporated into the office style. layering with poplin cotton that peeks out at the hem.

I'm sorry I've been away, I got married!

Dear all, I am so sorry for my absence here and on Twitter. As many of you know, I had my wedding on Sunday in Poland. It was a church ceremony followed by a wonderful reception and we cannot be more grateful for all the guests who arrived and the wishes we've received.

It was truly a magical time and we're both sad that it's coming to an end on Monday when we'll finish our wedding photoshoot and on Tuesday we're coming back to London. I am trying not too to share of my personal life on blog, but preparations took so much of my time, I wanted to give you all my explanation. And of course I wanted to share my happiness!
