Dove Style+Care Range

Recently I had a pleasure of styling my hair by Christian Wood, a hairdresser to the stars. I actually met Christian before at another Dove event, when Hair Therapy range was launched. He was challenged with styling my hair under in 60 seconds (he managed to do it and created super messy hair bun - I loved it!) in honour of Dove Intensive Repair 60 Treatment Shot. This time the approach was much more relaxed and we've agreed on simple waves, a look I desperately try to create at home. Christian used Dove products from the new range - Style+Care to achieve the perfect look and I was given them also to try and test at home and let me tell you - you're going to love them!

Dove Refresh+Care Dry Shampoo*
A definite star of the whole range this dry shampoo is so lightweight like a mist. It is translucent so won't give you any white streaks (I call them a badger look). It smells divine too - think of a fresh shampooed and conditioned hair. It gave my hair amazing volume and it is Christian's favourite product from the whole range. You can use it on clean hair and add instant oomph and volume to the root area or use on unwashed locks to instantly refresh hair-perfect for non-wash days when you want to spend extra few minutes in bed.

Dove Style+Care Heat Protect Spray*
I always use heat protector spray when styling or even blow-drying it and usually go for TRESemmé Heat Defence Styling Spray, so this is a nice addition to my usual routine. Your hair is protected to 230°C and left looking nourished and healthy.

Dove Style+Care Cream Serum*
Another Christian's favourite, he says that it is amazing with preventing flyways and frizz when doing a photoshoot and at the same time it doesn't weight the hair down. You can use this serum on wet or dry hair and I tested it in windy and rainy weather and I am very impressed with the results. My hair was much more manageable, sleek and smooth.

Dove Style+Care Nourishing Dry Ends Serum*
Hair serum is another staple in my hair care routine and I my usual choices include TRESemmé Salon Smooth Serum, TRESemmé Oil Elixir and Dove Hair Pure Care Dry Oil. I believe using any kind of concentrated oil or serum on your ends prevents them from splitting and keeps them moisturised for any styling tools they may encounter. I like this serum since it is not sticky, smells nice and gets the job done. I place a small amount into palm of my hands, rub together and then smooth through from mid lengths to the ends.
